About This Policy

By using the Double Knitting Design Tool at double-knit.com, you agree to use the service responsibly and in good faith. This policy explains what is and isn't allowed. We may update it at any time, and continued use of the service means you accept any changes.

What You Can Do

• Create, edit, save, and export double-knitting chart designs for personal or commercial knitting projects.
• Import your own images or Excel files to generate charts.
• Store up to 5 designs in your cloud account.
• Share designs and patterns you have created, crediting the tool where appropriate.
• Participate in our Ravelry group at ravelry.com/groups/double-knitting-design-tool.

What You Must Not Do

• Use the service for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive.
• Upload or use content (images, patterns) that you do not own or have permission to use.
• Attempt to hack, overload, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to extract data from the service.
• Harass, impersonate, or harm other users.
• Create multiple accounts to get around storage limits.
• Share your account credentials with others.

Your Designs

You own everything you create. Saving to cloud storage gives us only the permission needed to store and show your designs back to you. We do not share your designs with anyone and do not claim any rights over them.

Your Data

We collect only what is needed to run the service: your name, email address, and saved designs. We do not sell your data. Everything is stored securely. We recommend downloading your designs regularly as a backup using the Download (.pgb) button.

Service Availability

The tool is in Beta and provided free of charge. We cannot guarantee it will always be available, and features may change without notice. We are not liable for any loss of data or access.

Enforcement

If you violate this policy we may suspend or close your account. If you notice misuse, please contact us using the Contact Me link in the footer.
